James Fish is the founder of Mingo Mountain Woodworking and has been doing fine woodworking for decades. With a particular mastery of finishing — glazes, distresses, and the many variations of conversion varnish — his technical depth is what gives Mingo Mountain its unmistakable aesthetic quality.
James is involved in every stage of the build process, from the first design sketch to the final walkthrough with the client. His belief that a truly great kitchen should be a joy to use every day, not just beautiful to look at, drives the functionality-first thinking that underpins all of Mingo Mountain's work.
Janet Fish is the co-founder of Mingo Mountain Woodworking and the backbone of the business. Working alongside James since the beginning, Janet brings warmth, vision, and a keen design sensibility to every client relationship.
